Rich Dunn is a campaign and Capitol Hill veteran who knows how to win tough fights. He’s advised candidates for federal and statewide office, served as chief of staff in both the U.S. House and Senate, and helped some of the country’s most recognizable brands navigate complex public policy challenges. As a partner at Guidant, he provides polling and strategic counsel to political, corporate, and advocacy clients.
Before joining Guidant, Rich was a managing director at a top public affairs firm, where he designed and led campaigns for organizations looking to shape policy conversations at all levels of government. He worked primarily with the technology and consumer industries, supporting brands such as Uber, Pfizer, Google, and Genting.
Rich also served as chief of staff to U.S. Senator Tim Scott and has been a trusted advisor to national party committees and Super PACs. At the National Republican Congressional Committee and later at the Congressional Leadership Fund, he led two national advertising campaigns with a combined budget of $185 million. As political director at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, he worked closely with Chairman John Cornyn to recruit and counsel U.S. Senate candidates.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Rich lives in Bloomington, Illinois, where he grew up.
